Lyn has been a practicing massage therapist and Reiki provider since the mid 1990's. Her services include Swedish and deep tissue massage for relaxation, pain relief and general well-being; and Reiki, a Japanese healing modality utilizing a gentle laying on of hands to move and work with an individual’s life force energy. Reiki has many applications and is often used for stress reduction; alleviation of chronic pain or mood disorders such as anxiety and depression; recovery from injury or surgery; and general immune-boosting and well-being.
As an intuitive astrologer, Lyn provides clients with clarity and focus on their particular gifts and path as well as guidance in optimizing timelines for personal goals, growth and pursuits. Many clients schedule consultations during times of transition or see Lyn for yearly updates. She is known for her pragmatic, useful insights and warm, down-to-earth delivery, characterized by hefty doses of humor and compassion.
Lyn earned a BA in communications from Marylhurst University in 1993; became certified as a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) by East West College of the Healing Arts in 1995; and received her Reiki II certification from Living Light Center in Portland in 1996, as well as recertification in 2019. Her education in astrology has been a lifelong pursuit for the past 40 years, developed through numerous workshops, conferences, study with highly respected practitioners in the field and ongoing self-study, as well as practices and teachings in the development of her natural intuition.
